Yasuko Kobayashi (小林 靖子, Kobayashi Yasuko, born April 7, 1965) is a Japanese female Tokusatsu and anime writer. Since her debut writing credits in Janperson, Kobayashi has been the main writer on many anime and tokusatsu television series and films. She has also been a writer on individual episodes within other series.
Kobayashi is known for her composition in Tokusatsu, like Kamen Rider OOO, Janperson, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon and Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (Kobayashi is also credited for Power Rangers Samurai) as well as anime like Casshern Sins, Witchblade, Attack on Titan, Shakugan no Shana, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Digimon Tamers: Battle of Adventurers and Claymore.
In the Japanese version of both Harmony Unleashed: Human Ponidox Continuum Shift and Harmony Unleashed: AppleSpark Chronicles, She is the story editor along with Aaron Montalvo adapting his storyplay. As well as the Harmony Unleashed: Guardians of Equestria Japanese dub story editor.
