Harmony Unleashed: Extreme Ignition is a Japanese-American series of direct-to-video CGI animated films produced by Ivanna The Movie, OLM Digital and Bandai Visual, directed by Seiji Kishi and written Makoto Uezu, both of whom had previously worked on Danganronpa: The Animation, Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Carnival Phantasm, and distributed by Bandai Visual, Hollowfox Entertainment and Lionsgate.

The first film is released in Home Video by Lionsgate Home Entertainment overseas, except for Japan where it will be distributed by Bandai Visual.

Harmony Unleashed: Extreme Ignition is a Japanese-American CG-animated direct-to-video/OVA action-comedy science fantasy film directed by Seiji Kishi, written by Makoto Uezu and Aaron Montalvo and produced by OLM Digital and Ivanna The Movie and distributed by Lionsgate and NaruIchi97/AtomicRanger97 Entertainment Studios Inc.

The film has been released on Blu-ray and DVD in April 12, 2013 in both United States and Japan and later worldwide in July of 2013.

This is the first Harmony Unleashed feature film to have full CGI animation, and later it led to the creation of Harmony Unleashed: Dramatic Ascension, which it is in no way related to the Extreme Ignition film series.

Harmony Unleashed: Extreme Ignition 2.0 is a Japanese-American CG-animated direct-to-video/OVA action-comedy science fantasy film directed by Seiji Kishi, written by Makoto Uezu and Aaron Montalvo and produced by OLM Digital and Ivanna The Movie and distributed by Lionsgate and NaruIchi97/AtomicRanger97 Entertainment Studios Inc.

The film is a sequel to the first series and it is announced to be in production starting in Spring 2014 and releasing the film in Early 2015 on DVD and Blu-ray, as well as theatrical release the same day.
