Harmony Unleashed: Rainbow Dawn is a multi-genre videogame series produced by A.M. Games, Hasbro Gaming, Bushiroad, Takara Tomy with the publishing rights by Bandai Namco Games. It is composed of action/third-person shooting hybrid games for the main series, while the Dissidia sub-series is composed of 2D/2.5D Fighting games and the portable spin-offs consisted of 2D beat'em-ups.

Harmony Unleashed: Rainbow Dawn (Japanese: ハーモニーアンリーシュド:レインボードーン, Hepburn: Hāmonīanrīshudo: Reinbōdōn) is a hack-and-slash/third-person shooter hybrid action-adventure game from Hasbro Gaming, A.M. Games, Takara Tomy, Bushiroad, developed by Platinum Games Inc. and CyberConnect2 and published by Takara Tomy in Japan, while Namco Bandai Games Inc. publishes the game worldwide.

The game is released in May 2013 for the XBOX 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii U, and later released in December 3rd for XBOX One, Steam and PlayStation 4.

Rainbow Dawn 2: The MultiverseEdit

At MomoCon 2013, BNGI released an announcement trailer for Rainbow Dawn 2: The Multiverse, set for release in 2015 for XBOX 360, XBOX One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Nintendo Switch and Steam. The story is set to be a multiverse traveling storyline with Equestria Girls characters and including elements from the franchise and its incarnations.

It is set to be released in May of 2017, instead of PlatinumGames and CyberConnect2 developing the game, Dimps will take over development.

Harmony Unleashed: Rainbow Dawn The Arcade is an action arcade game developed by A.M. Games, Hasbro Gaming, CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Games Inc. releasing exclusively for the arcades starting on May 30, 2014 as powered by Sega RingWave 2. It is a spin-off of the Rainbow Dawn series. Steam brought the spin-off to PC and Mac devices released on November 2014 and a console version for XBOX 360/XBOX One, PS4/PS3 and Wii U is confirmed to release in June 2015 with a demo for Rainbow Dawn 2: The Multiverse.
