Hasbro Inc. (formerly known as Hassenfeld Brothers) is an American/multinational toy and boardgame company founded in 1932 by Henry Hassenfeld, Hilal Hassenfeld and Herman Hassenfeld at Providence, Rhode Island, and is currently located in Pawtucket at the same state. The current key people of the company are Brian Goldner (CEO), Deborah Thomas (CFO), and Alfred J. Verrechia (Chairman).
Hasbro is known for their board game franchises such as Monopoly, The Game of Life, Pictureka!, Candy Land, etc. toy franchises such as Transformers, G.I. Joe, Littlest Pet Shop, Action Man, Jem and the Holograms and last but not least (and for the Harmony Unleashed franchise), My Little Pony (Currently having four generations and a spin-off series, Equestria Girls). They also have partnerships with Marvel and Lucasfilm through 2020, despite that they are owned by Disney as of now.
Hasbro has other sister companies such as Playskool, Wizards of the Coast, Cranium Inc. and collaborated with Discovery Communications, The Hub Network. Which in 2014, it became Discovery Family and increased a venture in Discovery and decreased in Hasbro's
Hasbro is part of the Harmony Unleashed Production Committee and collaborated with Hollowfox Entertainment and Bandai, with co-operation with Japanese affiliates such as Bushiroad and Takara Tomy to produce the Harmony Unleashed media franchise.
