MADHOUSE Inc. (株式会社 マッドハウス, Kabushiki-gaisha Maddohausu) is a Japanese animation studio, founded in 1972 by ex–Mushi Pro animators, including Masao Maruyama, Osamu Dezaki, Rintaro, and Yoshiaki Kawajiri.

The studio is well known for their projects, such as Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, Ninja Scroll, Trigun, X, Cardcaptor Sakura, Dragon Drive, Beyblade, Chobits, CLAMP In Wonderland, Dragon Drive, Death Note, Hunter X Hunter (2011 remake), Demon City Shinjuku, Metropolis, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (with Gainax), Perfect Blue, Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers, The Animatrix, Texnolyze, Ichigo 100%, Highlander: The Search for Vengeance, Casshern Sins (with Tatsunoko), Birdy the Mighty, Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden, The Girl who Leaped Through Time, High School of the Dead, Needless, Redline, Chihayafuru, Marvel Anime, Magical Warfare, Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, Chaos;Head, Summer Wars, Wolf Children (with Studio Chizu) and others.

Madhouse, alongside South Korean animation studio Sunmin Image Pictures Inc., will be the Japanese overseas animation production for Harmony Unleashed: Uprising working with Titmouse. For the Japanese version, Toei Animation will collaborate with Madhouse for the opening/ending animation sequence exclusively for the Japanese dub release airing on TV Asahi and licensed by Toei Company.
